“Instead of going to Mars, we have invaded the Middle East. We don’t need to see Hillary Clinton’s deleted emails: her incompetence is in plain sight. She pushed for a war in Libya, and today it’s a training ground for ISIS. On this most important issue Donald Trump is right. It’s time to end the era of stupid wars and rebuild our country.”
– Peter Thiel, 2016 RNC
The war in Afghanistan is finally over thanks to former President Trump and current President Joe Biden’s willingness to defy the US military establishment, intelligence community, and corporate press, three arms of a Globalist American Empire that always, always, wants perpetual war.
Was the withdrawal an absolute nightmare? You bet. Was the Taliban’s immediate takeover inevitable? 100%. Will the policy decisions made by our inept ruling class lead to devastating consequences down the line? Quite possibly. Are the pictures horrible? Definitely (take it down a notch, The Daily Wire). Is Biden lying out of his tushie left and right? Oh yeah.
War is ugly. It always produces massive amounts of death, pain, and suffering. Sometimes it is necessary. In the last century, however, this has largely not been the case. The real tragedy of Afghanistan is that America should have never been there in the first place. As investigative journalist Jordan Schachtel reminds us, “Afghanistan doesn’t threaten us. It never did. Importing unvetted jihadists is what allowed for 9/11 to happen. Importing them again will allow another one to happen. There was never a threat to America from Afghanistan.” And, as Julian Assange said back in 2011, “The goal [was] an endless war, not a successful war.”
One can only imagine where we’d be today had Ron Paul ever gotten a fair shake from the start. As America First Populist and free speech absolutist Rep Matt Gaetz (R-FL) recently echoed, “The American people were lied to for decades about Afghanistan by warmongers in both political parties.”
In the meantime, MAGA-types should be absolutely thrilled – ecstatic, even – that our troops are out because the Neoliberal/Neoconservative uniparty stooges who comprise the Globalist American Empire (yes, even the CIA) are absolutely livid. And when they’re pissed off, you can be absolutely sure of one thing – something positive has transpired.
Based Queen Ann Coulter, almost always a voice of reason in the populist space, nails it.
On Monday, Biden gave the best presidential address in recent memory — a full-throated, America-First statement of our interests. ‘I want to remind everyone how we got here and what America’s interests are in Afghanistan.’ That seemed to bring some conservatives back to reality. They must have overheard themselves talking and realized, ‘Wait, I’m against permanent war!’ But they had to come up with some reason to be against Biden, so they temporized, ‘Of course we want the war to end, we’re just upset at how he did it!’ Oh give it up, conservatives. 1) How smoothly did you expect the withdrawal of American troops from a country of warlords, brigands, and pedophiles to go? 2) Our military brass, upstanding folks like Gen. Mark “I Want to Understand White Rage” Milley, may be incapable of creating the most minimal fighting force given $1 trillion and 20 years. On the other hand, they are fully equipped to create colossal fiascos — say, making the withdrawal as messy and embarrassing as possible, so that no one will ever try to end this war again.
Nonetheless, like clockwork, shitcons (Establishment Republicans and their globalist fellow-traveler bootlickers in Con Inc.) on the so-called “Right”, Bush Neocon Republican in MAGA hat dipshits like Dan Crenshaw (R-TX), dropped the mask for the nine millionth time and brought out the old 2002 playbook to try to shame Populists again (“The ‘No More Endless Wars’ Crowd Got Exactly What They Asked For”), accusing military-industrial complex skeptics of being soft and “emotional”. These are delusional psychopaths who will legitimately tell you with a straight face that everything that happens from here on out in Afghanistan is your fault (and your fault alone) and that the world is a more dangerous place now solely because of you.
To Crenshaw and his ilk, if you’re an American who would like our nation’s leaders to focus on America and American citizens instead of Afghanistan and Afghanis (in other words, literally the entire base of Trump’s Republican Party), the blood is on your hands when it comes to Afghanistan becoming a “a new terrorist safe haven” with “millions of women and children now under the rule of the Taliban”.
We, the people, don’t have to stand for this. Don’t let these types fool you with their dancing, singing sprite trickery and slight-of-hand bs. And, just in case any of these goofs try to shame you by attempting to conflate supporting endless war with patriotism or not supporting it with not supporting the troops, recall that in 2012, Ron Paul’s support via campaign donations from active-duty military men and women were nearly twice those of his GOP rivals and Obama COMBINED (Trump sounded like Ron Paul on foreign policy in 2016 and 2020 for a reason).
Saagar Enjeti has had Dan Crenshaw’s number since Day 1.
According to Crenshaw (who’s been celebrated as a hero by “liberals” on MSNBC all week, lol), if you don’t want to stay in Afghanistan forever, you don’t want to “protect women”! Not surprisingly, the American embarrassment known as former President George W. Bush made his position clear last month, calling any suggestion of a withdrawal “a mistake” because it would cause him to fear for the fate of Afghan women.
Not sure about you, but we can live with that. If you know someone who can’t, however, we would strongly recommend said person go to Afghanistan to do something about it.
TFW you started the longest war in American history, but sit back and relax as useful idiots argue over whether to blame Trump or Biden.
If you’ve been paying even the slightest bit of attention to our foreign policy over the last two decades, you’re onto the fact that “Woke Military Adventurism” is just as much as a scam as “Woke Capitalism”. America has literally nothing to show for the bi-partisan “nation-building” and “spreading democracy” exercises favored by our ruling class, and whatever their issues, Afghanis will be just fine without the gender and women’s studies classes we brought them.
The fact that there are still lots of powerful people in this country that pretend that the “invade the world, invite the world” worldview (which Obama initially pretended to be against in a cold power-grab calculation, then immediately doubled–down on and then some by taking us from two to seven wars) has ever been anything but a failure is a testament to “elite” stupidity and failure. And, yet, even to this very day, Dubya and Obama are still lecturing Americans about how refugees are better than us, how it’s our responsibility to occupy the rest of the world forever in order to make the rest of the world just like America (even though this, of course, would cease to make America, um, America), and how we should be taking in everyone from the rest of the world (a lot of self-proclaimed “America First” types and their adjacents sounding identical to Hillary Clinton right now with her rich claim that taking in unlimited refugees is “Who we are as Americans” and that anyone who disagrees is just a bigot engaging in “hateful rhetoric” as she literally kills millions of people).
It’s legitimately impossible to take these cretins seriously, especially if you’ve watched them get it wrong about literally every single foreign policy decision of the last twenty years, only to watch them stomp their feet as they continue to insist that they’re right, that they’ve always been right, and that you’ve always been wrong for noticing.
Meanwhile, as Germany, Austria, France and other countries wisely take proactive measures to avoid another 2015 refugee crisis, Globalist American Empire is going out of their way to ensure that we get ours in 2021. You see, when Hillary Clinton lost in 2016, it wasn’t just Hillary Clinton who lost. Globalist American Empire lost. Had warmonger Hillary or any Republican candidate besides Trump won (Rand Paul being the possible exception) in 2016, Assad would have been overthrown in Syria, and we would have had our third catastrophic, pointless, excessive regime change failure after Saddam in Iraq under W. Bush and Gaddafi in Libya under Obama in just two decades (not to mention that we also would have gotten into a completely unnecessary hot war with Russia). Since our elites hate us (“us” being American citizens) and were unable to import Syrian refugees here back then, they’re sure as shit going to try and bring some Afghan refugees here now.
So, to reiterate, yes – it’s great that we’re out of Afghanistan (at least for the time being). However, make no mistake, this withdrawal ain’t about Afghanistan. This is Globalist American Empire’s refugee import backup plan. No matter what the corporate press tells you, it is never (and we mean never) about what it’s really about (which is humiliating patriotic American citizens by putting them last).
PLAN B!
Any American citizen who attempts to question or push back against the refugee settlement coming our way will inevitably be called “racist” by the disingenuous, shrieking nutjobs and harpies who run interference for our elites. This much is for certain.
Honestly, though, why would a single governor or senator in either party call for the resettlement of refugees when all American citizens haven’t even been evacuated and brought home yet? When our border is wide open and we’re set to take in two million illegal immigrants this year despite there being a global pandemic? And why is Pentagon spokesperson John Kirby already making it crystal clear that there is absolutely no way that the 10,000 stranded Americans in Afghanistan will get priority treatment over any Afghan refugee?
America’s duty should be to help Americans first. Always. American citizens should not have to pick up the tab for the idiotic and destructive decisions made by our America-hating ruling class. As Tucker Carlson asked with regard to the recent musings of the Biden’s Democrat Administration and their controlled opposition allies in the GOP establishment:
This country is getting so volatile and divided maybe we have a moratorium on any new people coming in until we can sort out our own problems? Why is this our unique moral burden? Isn’t the U.S. Government’s first obligation to its own people? Isn’t that the only point of having a government, to look out for its own citizens? Why else have a government, actually? How long will Republican voters tolerate leaders who so clearly don’t care at all about them?
If folks can’t see what’s going on here, maybe they’re not Advanced Citizenship material (we’re talking to you, Department of Defense shill and MAGA Inc. grifter Alyssa Farah). That’s out of our control. You know who is seriously Advanced Citizenship material, though? Academy Award winning journalist Glenn Greenwald! Speaking to Tucker about why the government has lied about Afghanistan to Americans for twenty years (spoiler alert: it’s about money and power), Greenwald stated the obvious.
It’s not a case where they got it wrong in good faith. It’s a case where they deliberately lied to the public to justify this endless war because so many people were profiting from it…The whole point of America First, as articulated by Donald Trump, was ‘we should focus on American citizens.’
Why should American citizens risk their lives to determine how Kandahar is governed when instead Americans aren’t being governed very well at all and life expectancy and every other index of happiness is declining? The reason is because there’s a tiny little segment of people, certain people in the corporate media whose ratings go up, and also the defense contractors who fund both parties who make a lot of power and a lot of profit as do the security state services – the Pentagon, the CIA, the NSA – when there’s war. And that’s what happens.
Hopefully one day Americans will have a government and a ruling class that cares about, you know, Americans again. Until then, we’ll keep using what free speech we have left to spread the message of Advanced Citizenship as far and wide as we can, because the only “nation-building” we support is right here at home. An America for Americans is not a radical concept, and we won’t be gaslit into believing otherwise.
Ever.
