You Know What “Woke” Means? It Means You’re A Loser
On cue, as if he read our piece from last week, Bill Maher mocked the “one true opinion” shared by woke, painfully cringe Globalist American Empire late-night hosts (as well as their live audiences, “They’re there more to clap for the opinion they already believe in than to laugh”) and said the following about the success of Fox News’ Gutfeld! on the most recent episode of Real Time, “I keep saying to the liberals, ‘If what you’re saying sounds like an Onion headline, stop.’”
The great American Mark Twain once said, “Denial ain’t just a river in Egypt.” He wasn’t kidding. The good news is that if you’re reading this right now, you’ve clearly inoculated yourself from the chronically moronic, dogmatic, politically correct “woke” idea pathogens that our tyrannical elites attempt to pollute our minds and control us with via the Bill of Rights-approved vaccine known as “freedom of thought”. While many advanced citizens are committed to working with freethinking populists on the so-called “left” and “right” in order to preserve our basic civil liberties, our Globalist American Empire (GAE) ruling class is working 24/7 to permanently dismantle them and break the spirit of the American people.
The evidence for this is everywhere. Look around.
– Medical Apartheid is here.
– Segregation has been rebranded and returned under the guise of “progress”.
– Academia is a breeding ground for intellectual terrorists, an engine of ruin that has played an instrumental role in the death of meritocracy. A 2020 College Pulse survey found that the overwhelming majority (76%) of college students say that offensive jokes could constitute “hate speech”. These colleges are using social media blacklists to censor the public for a reason.
– The former President of the United States, who received over 7 million more votes than any sitting president in history, has been deplatformed by Big Tech for his supposed role in 1/6 because the GAE regime (and their woke useful idiot bootlickers, the same ones who never stopped whining and moaning about the assault on our democracy from 2016 until 2020 in our now obviously sham of a democracy) demanded it. This despite the fact that FBI has since stated that they have “found scant evidence that the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol was the result of an organized plot to overturn the presidential election result…[and] no evidence that [Trump] or people directly around him were involved in organizing the violence.”
– Our leaders are importing our enemies for the sole purpose of inflicting pain on American citizens.
– Taxpayers (many unwittingly) fund institutions that actively promote abolishing the first amendment.
– Our current administration is actually financing the Taliban (not a new phenomenon, by the way).
And, yeah, these screw-ups are just the tip of the friggin’ iceberg.
Meanwhile, approximately ZERO of our globalist ivory tower elites, those smug, entitled snot-nosed expert class hall monitors with empty credentials up the wazoo, the same managerial anti-populists behind the rise of China as a global superpower, the nine trillion dollars blown on endless, pointless, stupid wars, The Great Recession, the purposeful destruction of The American Dream (i.e. the purposeful disintegration of the Middle Class), and turning every institution in our country to hot doodie with their woke (see more here) nonsense have been held accountable for one iota of anything. As a matter of fact, the only time these corporate media-protected bureaucrats and establishment non-player characters seem to garner enough strength to pull out a pointy finger of blame is when that finger is pointed squarely at you, despite the fact that you literally could not possibly have been responsible for any of these disasters given your proximity from any position of power.
It can be difficult to gage how many Americans are truly inoculated against the endless barrage of bullshit that GAE drowns us with so that no one can effectively organize against them (never forget that they organized against us, “the people”, first) or exercise their first amendment right to explain why and how they are straight trash in public. One day, Trump seemingly remembers that he won in 2016 in large part by waging war on political correctness (“it takes too long” he once humorously remarked) with a shoot-from-the-hip style of talking and gets a roaring applause when he states an objective truth (i.e. that “everything woke turns to shit.” ). The next, Pew Research Center releases findings from a new survey conducted to discover what role Americans think the government should play in handling “misinformation” (a false premise to begin with, since “misinformation” is the most nonsensical, arbitrary term to be mainstreamed by censorship-lovers since “hate speech”) online:
Roughly half of U.S. adults (48%) now say the government should take steps to restrict false information, even if it means losing some freedom to access and publish content, according to the survey of 11,178 adults conducted July 26-Aug. 8, 2021. That is up from 39% in 2018. At the same time, the share of adults who say freedom of information should be protected – even if it means some misinformation is published online – has decreased from 58% to 50%.
The thought police keep pushing and more and more Americans seem to take the bait. The problem with propaganda, much like censorship, is that it works (for a small group in the short-run, while everyone ultimately loses in the end).
America used to pride itself on being the only country in the world where the freedom to express whatever you think, no matter how stupid, genius, or ridiculous, was not only its bedrock value, but also one enshrined by the constitution itself. It’s a testament to the “success” of Globalist American Empire that they’ve managed to convince so many Americans to give up the pretext of democracy in exchange for the Netflix, TikTok, and Postmates that our oligarchs distract us with. And, yet, here we are in the midst of a society wherein American citizens that don’t go along with the woke program are labeled the oppressors of the actual oppressors claiming to be oppressed (try saying that mouthful ten times fast).
Let’s be honest. We the people have been conquered from the inside. We have been completely subverted by a very wacky, authoritarian and tyrannical small cabal (and that includes GOP elites) that rebranded communism as “globalism”. Per usual, the “commies” in this case, the globalists themselves, our elites, have proven themselves to be the most ruthless “capitalists” (i.e. corporatists) of all. As history shows us, this pattern never changes. Ever. Neoliberals and Neoconservatives can yap about the supposed “free market” all they want, but the cat’s been out the bag that no such system has existed for some time now (that is, of course, unless you’re a member of the ruling class). There is only Globalist American Empire and the rest of us.
“I’m the enemy. Because I like to think, I like to read. I’m into freedom of speech, the freedom of choice.” – Edgar Friendly (Denis Leary), Demolition Man (1993)
So what do we do? After all, these sneaky fuckers move quickly. How quick? Just this past week, “Comedy” (lol) Central, at the behest of its soviet Viacom multinational master, erased “Diversity Day,” the single best and most hilarious episode of The Office, from its programming lineup. The woke will tell you that this was done to potentially avoid offending people, but you know better than that.
Here’s a thought experiment. Let’s say that we were “offended” by the same Anti-American wokes proclaiming to be “offended” on behalf of some hypothetical group that actually isn’t offended. Would Comedy Central bring the episode back? We doubt it. Funny how that works, right? It’s as if the whole outrage power play only works as a one-way street…aimed downwards.
As “Relatable” host Allie Beth Stuckey astutely observed, “One of the funniest episodes of the entire series and, ironically, represents a time when America was LESS racially divided than it is today. Trump was right. Everything woke turns to shit.” For those of a certain age, it’s an understatement to say that much has changed in the fifteen years since that episode first aired. In fact, anyone with one shred of intellectual honesty who was alive at that time knows good and well that America was far less divided when nobody raised an eyebrow over this classic episode airing (on NBC, no less).
In 2018, Carrell told Esquire, “It might be impossible to do that show today and have people accept it the way it was accepted 10 years ago. The climate’s different…I mean, the whole idea of that character, Michael Scott, so much of it was predicated on inappropriate behavior.” Yeah. We, the audience, knew Scott’s behavior was ‘inappropriate’. That’s what made it funny. Wouldn’t it be worse if the audience didn’t find it funny and just thought his behavior was normal? Interesting how no one seems to ever ask that question.
Does this new ‘climate’ feel like progress to you? Or, rather, does it feel like a small group of control-hungry psychopaths are trying to take us back to the Stone Age? The Daily Wire head honcho Ben Shapiro recently did a pretty bang-up job at laying out the woke nightmare scenario from hell that we have found ourselves in on Watters’ World.
Every major institution that impacts our lives has now been re-normalized by a group of very aggressive radical leftists who have taken those institutions and weaponized them against us, whether you’re talking about the entertainment sphere, or whether you’re talking about education. Whether you’re talking about the institutions of science, or whether you’re talking about the media. Whether you’re talking about social media or whether you’re talking about the corporation you work for, there is a feeling by most Americans that if they say what they think that they could be ostracized from everyday society, fired from their job, excised from the body politic. You are not wrong to think that. By polling data, every single political group in the United States with the exception of people who consider themselves, staunch far leftists feel that they are not able to speak up publicly for fear of repercussions.
We love us some Watters’ World at Advanced Citizenship, we really do, but our boy Jesse Watters (love this bro, really do, get his new book here) is living in the land of the make believe when he responded to Shapiro by saying “All we’re [the unwoke] asking for is respect and neutrality”. Like the Taliban themselves, the wokes are laughing at people who think they will ever, under any circumstance, let this fly.
There are only two types of people in the world. There are those who just want to be left alone and there are those who just will not leave you alone. Until enough of the former (the majority) get behind people who will push back against the latter, nothing will fundamentally change. In fact, the problem will only fester and get worse. It will not simply blow over. In fact, the notion that it will (this cope is usually accompanied by someone rambling on about “the pendulum”) is itself a thought variant of what Veteran and PhD candidate Rob Henderson has called a “luxury belief” i.e. an “idea [or] opinion that confer[s] status on the rich at very little cost, while taking a toll on the lower class.”
Rome wasn’t built in a day. We get it. But the one thing every single American can do in the meantime to help break the tyranny of woke political correctness is to point and laugh at Globalist American Empire at every possible opportunity. Human nature shows us that we’re often cruelest to those we’ve hurt the most. This explains why we don’t really care about our elites’ feelings. After all, they’ve never cared about ours. Advanced citizens love America and our fellow Americans. Our ruling class goons have proven that they don’t. They say they want equality? How about an eye for an eye?
Saul Alinsky, author of the 1971 Globalist American Empire playbook, Rules for Radicals: A Pragmatic Primer for Realistic Radicals, was no dummy. Andrew Breitbart himself even admitted as much in Righteous Indignation: Excuse Me While I Save the World!. Trump won in large part in 2016 by using the Alinsky playbook against the very elites who had been wielding it without pushback for decades, particularly its fifth rule: “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. There is no defense. It is almost impossible to counterattack ridicule. Also it infuriates the opposition, who then react to your advantage.”
Author and First Amendment layer Greg Lukianoff champions the use of humor as a means of pushing back against tyrannical wokeness in his Encounter Broadside chapbook, Freedom From Speech, his analysis of the rise of speech restrictions and elite obsession with “freedom from speech” over “freedom of speech”, writing “It is blazingly clear that politically correct censorship and comedy are natural enemies.” Lukianoff, the President of FIRE (The Foundation for Individual Rights in Education), understood this self-evident truth the moment that pc insanity went from minor annoyance to potentially civilization-destroying disaster in 2014. Without the ability to mock those who abuse their power, we will never have serious leaders who actually care about the country.
Trump’s 2016 victory was supposed to enlarge the space of what Americans were able to discuss out loud. If anything, the Overton window has shrunk more than we ever could have imagined. As such, Americans are as desperate as ever to hear obvious truths in a soviet-style society where doing so can you get fired and labeled a ‘domestic terrorist’ by the most annoying, tyrannical, sourpuss, killjoy ruling class in our nation’s history.
There’s a reason Globalist American Empire fears humor more than anything else. They don’t want you to know what ‘dour’ ‘idiots’ they are. As Ann Coulter cleverly articulated in In Trump We Trust: E Pluribus Awesome!, “Political correctness gives dour, boring people a sense of nobility … [It] was designed to make idiots without original thoughts feel valued and important.”
Take the case of Milo Yiannopoulos. In the introduction to his new collection of nostalgic writings, The Long Slide: Thirty Years in American Journalism, an investigation into whether or not America has really changed that much in recent decades (from his first sentence – “I’d like to acknowledge Jonathan Karp of Simon & Schuster, whose descent from open-minded book editor to cartoonish corporate censor mirrors the decline of America itself” – the answer is an unequivocal “yes”), Tucker Carlson makes a simple, honest observation that nearly everyone else participating in the public square seems to have conveniently overlooked:
Americans should be able to read whatever books they want, publishers told us, but they should start with the books the authorities have tried to suppress. As they often said, there’s only one answer to offensive speech, and it’s more speech. They said this a lot. It seemed like they meant it. At some point, they stopped meaning it. In December 2016, Simon & Schuster, one of the largest and oldest publishers in the country, signed a book deal with Milo Yiannopoulous. Yiannopoulous was an editor at Breitbart News. He was exuberantly gay, wildly articulate, and unapologetically right-wing. Media outlets dismissed him as a ‘provocateur.’ Journalists suggested that Yiannopoulos’s habit of questioning dominant cultural clichés was somehow immoral. This was strange to see. In Yiannopoulos’s case, the normal rules seemed inverted: Yiannopoulous was funny and outrageous, but for the first time in memory, fashionable people considered that bad. When entertainers like Kathy Griffin or Sarah Silverman made lame jokes designed to affirm the professional class’s sense of its own moral superiority, they were praised as daring, for ‘pushing boundaries.’ Yiannopoulous was wittier than either one of them, but he pushed real boundaries. None of our taste-makers congratulated him for it. Many of them became hysterical.
Power reveals. And when our ruling class elites redefined humor as some sort of narcissistic exercise in ass scratching meant to ‘affirm’ their own non-existent ‘moral superiority’, they gave up any pretense that they were anything but Authoritarians. These control freaks hate what they can’t have (having a sense of humor does require at least a minimal degree of perspective and honesty) and what they can’t have is a sense of humor, forget the ability to understand that your typical American can see humor even in the most horrible things.
The fight for freedom has never been easy. So, at the very least, until we get the new bipartisan Church Committee that Steve Bannon has been calling for year after year after year in order to help our country cleanse our awful federal institutions of their GAE regime dry rot, laughter is the way forward.
As Dick Carlson, Tucker Carlson’s father, used to tell a young Tucker, “Truth is a defense. This is America. You’re allowed to be honest.”
