Populist, America First Ohio Senate Republican candidate J.D. Vance has issued a statement opposing the $30 billion Biden endorsed Portman-Warner-Sinema Amendment regulating cryptocurrencies in the “bipartisan” infrastructure bill, arguing that it would punish Ohioans (and, ipso facto, freethinking, regular Americans) on behalf of Big Tech, urging every Senator to support the sovereign citizen-friendly Wyden-Toomey-Lummis Amendment in its place. The current P-W-S amendment would lead to mass surveillance on those in the cryptocurrency community, a potential backdoor ban of Bitcoin (and other popular cryptocurrencies), send even more American jobs overseas, all while continuing to stifle innovation in the name of “diversity, equity, and inclusion” and other social justice warrior corporate claptrap.
