Crying Wolf About Election Fraud Is A Losing Strategy for Republicans

“Here’s what I’m prepared to offer. You give me the money and the girl is safe. Forever. Nobody knows about her. She’s off the map. I can’t offer you the same, so this is what I suggest. We conclude our deal. We shake hands. You start the rest of your life. Any dreams you have or plans or hopes for your future, think you’re going to have to put that on hold. For the rest of your life you’re going to be looking over your shoulder. I’m just telling you this because I want you to know the truth. But the girl is safe.” – Bernie Rose (Albert Brooks)
The Scorpion and the Frog, an animal fable about how there are just some people that cannot resist their innate temptation to hurt others even when it is not in their own interest to do so, first emerged in Russia in the early 20th century. Loosely, it goes something like this:
Unable to swim, a scorpion asks a frog to carry him across a river. The frog is initially hesitant. After all, the scorpion could sting him. The scorpion convinces the frog to give him a lift after arguing that he has no imperative to sting him, as if he did, both the frog and the scorpion would drown. Halfway through the trip, the scorpion nevertheless proceeds to sting the frog, sealing both of their fates for good. The frog asks the scorpion ‘But why?’ Just before they both drown, the scorpion replies ‘It’s just my nature.’
In pre-woke Hollywood (i.e. a decade ago), this parable was hot, hot, hot, serving as the thematic framework for Nicolas Winding Refn’s American Action/Drama cult classic Drive in 2011 and Mitch Glazer’s American Crime/Drama Starz series, Magic City, in 2012-2013.
In Drive, Driver (Ryan Gosling) is a Hollywood stuntman/auto mechanic who moonlights as a getaway driver for some real bad hombres. When Driver’s job procurer, Shannon (Bryan Cranston) gets the two of them embroiled with local gangsters Bernie Rose (Albert Brooks) and Nino Paolozzi (Ron Perlman), business goes south fast, prompting Driver to risk his life in order to protect his neighbor/love interest Irene (Carey Mulligan) and her son, Benicio. In the film’s final minutes, Driver meets Bernie, who promises Driver that Irene will be safe in exchange for the money that Driver and Irene’s late husband, Standard (Oscar Isaac) stole. Driver takes Bernie to his car outside, and Bernie proceeds to stab Driver in the stomach the instant he gets the money (even though he had earlier implied that while he would eventually kill Driver in order to settle his score with him, he would not do so in broad daylight outside of a public restaurant they were both seen in minutes earlier). Driver quickly return stabs Bernie to death, leaves Bernie’s corpse next to the cash, and drives into the night as he bleeds out.
Despite the fact that Driver wears a satin scorpion jacket throughout the entirety of the film, it is clear that he is actually the frog. Though capable of committing acts of extreme violence, he has a conscience and a code, and this ultimately makes him vulnerable to accepting the phony premises laid out for him by scorpions like Bernie. Bernie is a clever and smart antagonist, and though he knows that he would have been wiser to have not stabbed Driver in the parking lot, he is, like the scorpion of the parable, unable to restrain himself. He cuts off his nose to spite his face because, well, it’s in his nature.
In Magic City, Ike Evans (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), is the owner of Miami’s hottest hotel, the Miramar Playa, in 1959 Miami, Florida (i.e. just after the Cuban Revolution). Facing hard times, Evans reluctantly decides to get into business with his less-than-savory friend, Jewish Chicago mob boss Ben Diamond (Danny Huston). Diamond has taken up residence at the Playa and Evans believes he must do what he has to in order to keep the success of his beloved establishment alive.
In Diamond’s very first scene of the show’s pilot (“Year of the Fin”), he tells Ike the story of the Scorpion and the Frog after Ike asks him why he chooses to consistently double down on his unrestrained criminal lifestyle. Diamond promptly responds, “You know why the scorpion does that, Ike? In the end Ike, we are who we are. And I want more. That’s what I’ve always wanted. I’ve always wanted more.”
So why do we bring these cultural fossils up? Because the psychology that underscores the two archetypes featured in The Scorpion and The Frog parable serves as a perfect analogy for what just happened in the 2021 California gubernatorial recall election. The zero-sum (long) game-minded Globalist American Empire ruling class narrative around Gavin Newsom (a GAE vessel), is emblematic of the scorpion. The naïve boomer conservative narrative around Larry Elder (a perfectly affable fellow), Newsom’s frontrunner leading GOP replacement candidate, is emblematic of the frog. While conceding the results of the recall election on Tuesday night, which current California Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom won in a landslide (absolutely crushing the effort to unseat him), Elder told his supporters “We may have lost the battle, but we are going to win the war.”
We’ll dive into how Elder blew it on policy next week and who we think would be an ever better candidate next time around, but, in the meantime, we’re going to strictly focus on narrative.
Here’s the deal. We have no earthly idea if the 2020 election was stolen or not. Some things seem incredibly fishy, that’s for sure (read the infamous Time article “The Secret History of the Shadow Campaign That Saved the 2020 Election” here). That being said, here’s what we do know: IT DOESN’T FUCKING MATTER!
We hate to the bearer of the bad news here, but the Democrat wing of Globalist American Empire has been “stealing” elections since elections were invented in America. In fact, up until about eight minutes ago, it wasn’t even remotely controversial to talk about how the mafia rigged the 1960 presidential election in Illinois so that JFK could get elected.
They got this shit in textbooks, folks. We’re not breaking any new ground here.
All this is to say that at this stage in the game, knowing how dirty the Democrat wing of the Globalist American Empire plays, Republicans should just assume that they are going to cheat and act accordingly…BEFOREHAND! Not after the fact, when it’s too late, nobody cares, and there’s absolutely nothing you can do about it, but, yup, you’ve got it – before that (reason #234,583,921 Con Inc. is fraudulent). Also, given that the entire Globalist American Empire Corporate Media-Academia-Silicon Valley-Hollywood-Wall Street-Corporate America-DC Uniparty Swamp axis is almost 100% against non-RINO Republicans ideologically, any Republican that actually wants to win in a state like California going forward must think and act accordingly.
If you identify as being on the “Right” and you still think it’s 1980 and that we’re living in the age of Reagan austerity, boy do we have a rude awakening for you. Are you ready? Get this. You’re even more friggin’ delusional than AOC, who you probably just spent eight hours making fun of despite the fact that she’s kicking your ass. Please spare us with your boomer lectures about the “real world”, since you haven’t been living in it since before Matt Gaetz’s balls dropped.
Donald Trump won in 2016 because though he was a boomer, he was anything but a boomercon. In fact, this is why boomercon Country Club Republicans (bushcons/establishment republicans/neocons/economically libertarian business conservatives/republican globalists) despised and loathed him, while “the people” loved him. Here was a guy – freethinking, pragmatic, non-ideological, media-savvy, and more concerned with common sense than in engaging in the “conservative” purity-pissing contest – so clever that he succeeded by using the Globalist American Empire playbook against it. It was a genius strategy.
Cut to four years later. Trump had become the proverbial frog, whining to cover up for the fact that he had screwed over his most-trustworthy strategists (Ann Coulter, Steve Bannon), rolled over for the scorpion GOP establishment on nearly every issue but foreign policy in hopes that they would work with him i.e. let him cross the river with them on his back without stinging him (even though he knew damn well while he was running against them in 2015/2016 that they would never), and then acted surprised when the scorpion “stung” him, essentially destroying the GOP that Trump had all but saved from extinction just four years prior.
There’s no point to humiliation if you don’t learn from it. As Trump made perfectly clear this past Tuesday night, he hasn’t learned a damn thing, repeating the exact same exercise in self-sabotage that he did in the Georgia Senate runoff this past January by issuing the following statement on the eve of the recall:
People don’t realize that, despite the Rigged voting in California (I call it the “Swarming Ballots”), I got 1.5 Million more votes in 2020 than I did in 2016. The place is so Rigged, however, that a guy who can’t even bring water into their State, which I got federal approval to do (that is the hard part), will probably win. Billions of gallons of water coming to California from the North is being sent out to sea, rather than being spread throughout the State. This is to protect the tiny delta smelt, which is doing far worse now without the water. In any event, it all doesn’t matter because the California Election is totally Rigged. Many people are already complaining that when they go to vote they are told, “I’m sorry, you already voted” (Just like 2020, among many other things). They then leave angry, but fortunately, even the Fake News Media has been reporting it.
Day 1 Trump supporter Mike Cernovich, California resident, Populist, and Author of MAGA Mindset, immediately tweeted out “Telling people on the eve of an election that it’s rigged is voter suppression. Trump is literally suppressing pro-recall votes. Unreal that so many of you idiots can’t see this. Unfollow me.”
Bingo. Stolen election narratives are retarded. They’re retarded when Globalist American Empire pushes them and says Russia stole the 2016 election (while demonstrably false, this one was backed by the entire GAE establishment) and they’re retarded when anyone that votes Republican pushes them (even if they’re true, which is more probable considering the entire GAE establishment spends every waking second labeling such accusations a “conspiracy theory”).
A few things. One, whether or not the Democrats “cheated” last November, this past January, and this past week is irrelevant. Not because “cheating” is good (it’s not, we don’t condone that here at Advanced Citizenship), but because this type of conduct is to be expected. Also, so far as Georgia is concerned, Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue were beyond horrible candidates with zero connection to the populism that fueled Trump’s rise.
Since the results have come in, the copes have been astounding.
According to Jason Chaffetz, “We forced the Democrats to spend $100 MILLION here to keep Newsom in office. That is MASSIVE.” It’s absolutely not. That’s a wet fart to these people.
“All it takes to see how a mail-in voter voted in the CA recall is to shine a weak cellphone flashlight through the back of the envelope.” Meanwhile, in other news, water is still wet.
It’s exhausting. There’s a reason why the majority of GOP voters think Donald Trump should start a new party. They voted for him in 2016 every bit as much as an f-you to the Establishment Democrats and their useful idiots on the “Left” as they did as an f-you to the Establishment Republicans and their useful idiots on the “Right”. Hell, just a few weeks ago Trump himself correctly stated that “The only reason you have a Republican Party is because Democrats have horrible policy.” He’s all over the place! One second the guy’s dropping straight knowledge, the next…you get the drift.
In any case, enough with the cope already. The strategy of blaming every election loss on election fraud is a stone-cold loser. And, as Based Queen Ann Coulter points out, it also “gives Democrats cover to cheat in every election going forward!”
So what would Advanced Citizenship have done differently had we been hired as strategists in any of these last few recalls? Easy. We’d have hired a former scorpion to work with the Trump or Elder campaign in order to play offense before the election occurred while running a campaign so remarkable and effective that we’d overwin to ensure victory.
We’d have hired “Trumpocrat” Rod Blagojevich.
Pearl-clutching boomercons can smirk and scoff until their blue in the face, but it takes a certain type of scorpion to know one. Plus, you think “Blago” is getting invited back into his old club? That’s cute. The move is to pull a Catch Me If You Can and hire the exact kind of person who used to pull the same shenanigans.
In the wake of former President Trump sounding the alarm on potential voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election, the disgraced former Illinois Governor, a lifelong product of the corrupt Chicago political machine, laid it out as plain as day for Newsmax TV:
If the question is are the Democrats stealing votes in Philadelphia, my answer is, ‘Is the Pope Catholic?’ It’s a time-honored tradition for big Democrat-controlled cities like Chicago, my hometown, [and] Philadelphia, to do precisely what they’re doing now. I’ve never seen such a magnitude because this I think is an indication of just how widespread it is, how deep it is … It’s like what Justice Powell said about pornography: You can’t define it, but you know when you see it. And coming out of the Democratic Chicago political establishment, I know how they operate. They control polling places, they stop votes when their candidate’s behind, and then in the wee hours of the morning, in the dark of night, the stealing starts. And we’ve seen that in big numbers, unprecedented numbers in this election in Michigan and Philadelphia. It’s outrageous, and the fact that they’re doing it with the impunity that they’re doing it with is because the media is simply looking the other way because they have their corrupt mainstream media that’s not interested in protecting our Constitution or the rule of law. They just want to be Donald Trump at all costs. They’re not just stealing from Donald Trump. It’s worse than that. They’re stealing from us — the American people.
In other words, if Trump or Elder decide to run again (i.e. engage with a scorpion ipso facto give a scorpion a ride on its back across the river), they got to be prepared. It may not be in their nature to think outside the box like that, so they should delegate that responsibility accordingly. Let Blago (a man who served eight years in prison for a crime that nearly everyone else around him in Illinois has also committed) use his skillset – for better or worse – as that skillset is in his nature.
Shit happens. We get it. That being said, dear boomercons, if you’re not willing to start playing some offense (and not just defense) against your political opponents in the opposition party (that means against your enemies on both sides of the aisle), please do us all a favor already and gain some self respect by just shutting the hell up about election fraud already.
It’s in our nature to think about this sort of stuff, for better or worse. So let us do our fuggin’ thing already, would you? Any GOP candidate that actually wants to win going forward should really think about hitting us up with an email – its info@advancedcitizenship.org.
We’re less expensive than the competitors in town, and while we may lack the empty credentials, you better believe we’ll get you across the finish line.
Guess it’s up to you to figure out what’s most important to you.
Oh, and if anyone bumps into Newt “GOP will win in 2022 by targeting Democrats as ‘big government socialists’”, tell him to hit us up, because that’s the most loser boomercon losing strategy we’ve heard in a hot minute.
